Description: The story of Ashanti Ek Paap is set in the backdrop of Chennai slums where Ravi (kalanjiyam) lives and grows up selling drugs. One day, while escaping from the cops, he chances upon Dr Kanimozhi (Sunitha) saves her from an accident. She gets impressed by this heroic deed and falls in love with him. Kanimozhi is aware about Ravi's past but is sure that she can change him. However, Ravi has other plans.
